This boat is for all intents and purposes a new boat. It is based on a Mancunian narrowboats shell from the early 90's. We acquired the boat in March, 2011, and had it lifted for hull survey. As a result of the good results of the survey we decided to completely bring the boat back to 'new' condition with the following work carried out:-

• Windows removed and the interior and ballast completely stripped out to bare metal
• Engine, sterngear, removed and stripped to bare metal
• Hull drydocked and shotblasted inside and out
• Minor welding work carried out and hull bitumened and new anodes fitted
• Water tank ground and cleaned and bitumened
• Interior: Cleaned and rebitumened to gunnels with 2 coats primer above gunnels
• The entire superstructure was then professionally coachpainted
• Interior battened and Isover insulated from floor to ceiling
• Engine compartment was then cleaned and ground and painted with 2 coats of Danboline
• Engine compartment soundproofed together with 'Hospital' silencer
• New Canaline 25hp 3 cyl engine complete with PRM 150 hydraulic gearbox fitted
• All new sterngear, propeller, shaft, centreflex coupling and ancilliary parts fitted
• 4 135 amp heavy duty domestic batteries and 1 110 amp starter battery installed
