At Barbridge Marina there are extensive moorings along both banks of the Middlewich Branch of the Shropshire Union Canal with the capability of berthing up to 70 narrow boats and was re-dredged in 2007.

Conveniently located at the junction of the Shropshire Union Canal and the Middlewich branch enables cruising North towards Chester and South to Nantwich and beyond.

Easy access is also possible to both the Llangollen Canal and the Trent & Mersey Canal providing many more miles of canal network to explore and enjoy.

The Olde Barbridge Inn sits alongside the Shropshire Union Canal in the Cheshire village of Barbridge.

Situated three miles north of Nantwich, it has a 40 seat restaurant overlooking canalside moorings, a lounge bar, a public bar, and a games room.

During the summer months outdoor dining is available from the tables situated in the gardens.

Facilities include a childrens play area, full disabled access and there are two car parks.

The Jolly Tar is a canalside pub on the A51 Nantwich to Chester road at Wardle. There is an extensive beer garden with fine views across open countryside and the Shropshire Union Canal.

Facilities include a seperate dining room, main live entertainment room and a games room with pool table, 50'' flat screen television, IT Box & quiz game.
